They say “Time Heals all wounds,” Not in the realm of Politics. Yes I am on a Soap box putting my Two Cents in Again. A few years back, I wrote how we can fix the problems, and it seems to me Our illustrious leaders didn't listen (Simple Solutions to Our Problems 7/31/2011 ). Two people I did forget to add was Nancy Pelosi and John Boehner, my bad.
It does not matter what political party you are affiliated with or what you believe in, We the people, who sadly voted them all in need to take a stand now. We still have two chances, Yes two. One is the Elections of 2014 and the other 2016. That is right,we can succeed and make this a better country for all. If we play our cards right, we can make the USA a Stronger better country. Yes, we can bring jobs back, Yes we can have better healthcare for all our Veterans and jobs too. Immigration laws need to be reinforced, hey my dad came to this country & was a naturalized citizen. That is where I get my love for this country and why it is so strong.
So much needs to be fixed and we need to tell our politicians how we feel. Writing and calling them, sending our suggestions. Before I forget, I've got a good one for you. Conflict of Interest, where family or close friends are Lobbyists, the Politicians Shall Recuse themselves from the vote (Wicked Evil Grin, then who will vote you ask? Oops the corporations won't get their I want, I want, I want). The other is Full Disclosure, I know that might send some of our politicians into cardiac Arrest. Full disclosure of their off shore accounts, full disclosure of the Real Political Donations, full disclosure of those insider meetings where there is Insider trading and Nobody gets charged with it. A free pass except if it was you or I. Oh I can go on and on.
No this isn't pie in the sky, there are good politicians in both parties, sure we have to look hard at who they are affiliated with. Yes, there are so many unscrupulous people out there who hide behind corporate owned and financed Shill Organizations. Where the Lobbyists play for pay and politicians are on the Take, Did I say that?? I sure did, because back in the day, yes there were lobbyists and there was gangsters (not the ones today with the droopy pants) The ones the Feds went after using the Rico Act. Hell I think we should use it on today's politicians and I'm going to say it …. Ready ….Some of Our TOP JUDGES!! You all know who I mean, always a 5 to 6 vote favorite of ”Corporation are People.” Don't get me wrong there are some Damn good ones there that I truly respect.
As far as that goes, I thought, now correct me if I am Wrong please. Corporations Are Run By People and People are on the Board of Directors. Corporations have Articles of incorporation but if you cut up those Articles Do they Bleed? Do they have a heart and can have a Heart Attack & need CPR? I think Not. Do I hear Chants of Corporations Are Not People??? I sure hope I do.
Now I hope I didn't make your eyes bleed from all this, but I sure do hope I made your head spin by giving you a lot to think about. Oh here I go again, just one more thing. We are Not the World's Police Department, The is what the United Nations was Created for. We need to rebuild America, Stop Sending Aid to Countries that hate us and are in bed with other countries that want to destroy us. Please Not so corporations can win at every game they put their hands in. Good movie to watch I believe it came out in the 70's Soylent Green.
